We are Encompass Health

This is the most amazing company I have ever worked for in my 25 years of nursing. I have been with the company for almost eight years and plan to stay until my retirement. I have been able to experience not only working for the most amazing company in the world, but multiple family members have needed home health and hospice. Everyone from the corporate offices to my home office has shown such compassion, empathy and professionalism above and beyond the call of duty. I am so blessed and proud to work for Encompass Health where you can work in a comfortable, safe and loving environment where we can provide amazing care to our patients and families. Together we make a difference!

We are Encompass Health

I was visiting my grandfather at the hospice in The Woodlands, and I was struck by the incredible compassion and professionalism of his nurse, Cheryl. It was obviously a difficult time for our family, but she was a bright spot in our despair. I also work in the healthcare field, and so I know how emotionally draining her job can be, but she was so sensitive, gracious and comforting. From her demeanor and behavior, you would have thought she only had one patient (our grandfather) - she was an unbelievable blessing, and I hope she is recognized for her excellence.

We are Encompass Health

Not just the empathy for the patient, not just expecting them to be able to do this because on paper they should, but really looking at them as a person, as somebody’s loved one who’s going through a life-changing event, and letting them know that you're there to help them through it, so that they're not alone even if they don't have a lot of family care.
