Our hospice medical directors are physicians with significant experience in hospice and palliative care. These compassionate doctors ensure that patient care goals are being met.
Our nurses deliver specialized care related to each patient’s needs and help implement a plan of care that seeks to give terminally ill patients a quality end of life experience.
Hospice social workers
Our hospice social workers are licensed, skilled professionals that assist our hospice teams in understanding social and emotional factors related to a patient’s terminal illness. These caring individuals assess psychosocial, environmental, and financial needs and provide coordination to help alleviate difficulties where possible.
Our hospice chaplains provide spiritual guidance and counseling to hospice patients, their family members and caregivers. Wherever the patient lives, hospice chaplains deliver care while emphasizing dignity and peace.
Hospice nursing aides
Hospice nursing aides are trained and certified to assist patients with activities that include changing clothing, bathing and helping with hygienic routines such as brushing teeth and washing hair. These supportive team members also instruct families and caregivers in how to perform basic healthcare routines.
We recruit hospice volunteers to provide companionship and encouragement for patients, caregivers and family members
