Frequently asked questions

How long will visitor restrictions be in place?

We will be constantly monitoring the evolving situation and will modify our policy based on when it is safe to do so.

How can I communicate with my loved one if I can’t visit?

We understand it is important for our patients to stay connected with family and friends during this difficult point in their lives. We strongly encourage using other methods of communication, including mobile devices, to provide them with encouragement and support. Popular apps to facilitate communication and video calling are listed below. As always, our team will continue doing their part as well to help them make the most of their recovery.

How can I get items to my loved one?

Please contact the hospital to arrange a delivery for your loved one.

Are you still hosting support group meetings?

In accordance with the CDC guidelines on events and gatherings, we will be postponing our upcoming support groups until further notice.

What safety precautions are being practiced in the hospital?

We are following this outbreak closely and making sure that our clinicians are kept up-to-date on the current recommendations for screening patients. Our preparation plan includes our existing infection control protocols, education for leadership and employees on the CDC’s recommendations for signs and symptoms, prevention and treatment as well as employee refresher training on use of personal protection equipment. In addition, all equipment in our therapy gym will continue to be cleaned thoroughly between each patient, social distancing will be followed with patients in the gym and dining services will be adjusted for patients and employees. All non-emergency or non-essential company travel has been halted for our employees.
