Janell Briscoe
Janell Briscoe

Chief Executive Officer

As the area chief executive officer for the Fort Worth market, Janell oversees the daily operations of our HealthSouth Fort Worth and HealthSouth City View hospitals. She received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Bringing more than 23 years of experience in health care leadership in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, she held positions with Baylor Health Care System, Tenet Health, Dallas Children’s and Cook Children’s. Janell is committed to ensuring an excellent experience for patients and families by providing ongoing support to the outstanding clinicians and staff at our HealthSouth City View and Fort Worth hospitals.

Patrick Donovan, M.D.
PATRICK DONOVAN, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Donovan became the medical director for HealthSouth Fort Worth in 1995. As medical director, he is responsible for the care and treatment of patients who have experienced multiple trauma, fractures, head injuries, strokes and other musculoskeletal types of injuries. Dr. Donovan began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1992 after completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.

Gary Campbell, D.O.
Gary Campbell, D.O.

PM&R Program Director

Dr. Gary Campbell has been affiliated with HealthSouth City View since August 2014. He is board-certified in spinal cord injury and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Campbell earned his doctorate of osteopathy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He completed his rotating internship in 2000, his rehabilitation medicine residency in 2002 and his post-doctoral fellowship in spinal cord Injury in 2004.

Mark Canty
Mark Canty

Director of Quality/Risk Management

Mark has been with HealthSouth since 2008 and was named the director of quality/risk management in May 2014. During his career with the company he has also held positions as a speech language pathologist and prospective payment system coordinator. He has a strong focus toward providing an excellent patient experience through comfort, professionalism and respect. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he attended Portland State University and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in applied linguistics, speech and hearing sciences, as well as a master’s degree in speech language pathology.
 

Mary Edobor
MARY EDOBOR

Chief Nursing Officer

Mary is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse® with extensive nursing and leadership experience. She returned to HealthSouth Forth Worth in March 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science (nursing) from Texas Woman’s University. She is responsible for the supervision of nursing personnel and the delivery of quality care to all our patients and family.


 Mike Gilmore
Mike Gilmore

Director of Plant Operations

Mike became director of plant operations at HealthSouth City View in June 2010. He has worked as supervisor and manager of biomedical engineering, as well as director of facility management, at several area hospitals. Mike is from Richmond, Indiana, and joined the Air Force in 1976, which brought him to Texas. He earned an associate degree in biomedical equipment technology while in the Air Force and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at UTA after an honorable discharge from the USAF in 1989.
 

Sherry Hapney
Sherry Hapney

Area Chief Financial Officer

Sherry has served as chief financial officer at HealthSouth Fort Worth since 2006. Previously, she worked for the State of West Virginia at Bateman Hospital as chief financial officer and equal employment opportunity (EEO) counselor. Sherry graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting.

Laurie Moore, PHR
Laurie Moore, PHR

Director of Human Resources

Laurie was named the director of human resources of HealthSouth City View in 2008. Prior to that, she served in the hospital as a human resources coordinator as well as a therapy technician. She worked as a therapy technician from 1986-1999. Laurie began her career in rehabilitation in 1985 as a volunteer physical therapy transporter for Fort Worth Children’s Hospital.

Kendal Twing
Kendal Twing

Area Director of Marketing Operations

As the director of marketing operations, Kendal brings more than 10 years of accomplished healthcare marketing and business development experience to HealthSouth. Kendal originally started her healthcare marketing career with HealthSouth's outpatient rehabilitation locations in Fort Worth and Arlington in 2003. Kendal grew up in Amarillo and moved to Dallas/Fort Worth in 2002. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications.

Yvonne Wilson
Yvonne Wilson

Director of Case Management

As the director of case management, Yvonne serves as an advocate for patients and families throughout the interdisciplinary environment. Having joined HealthSouth Fort Worth in 2011, she brings more than 25 years of case management experience to the diverse patient population served at the hospital. Yvonne obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from Tabor College, and her master’s degree in social work administration from The University of Kansas. She has served the inpatient rehabilitation setting since 2003 and holds an ACM certification through the American Case Management Society.

Natasha Woolery, PT
Natasha Woolery, PT

Director of Therapy Operations

Natasha joined HealthSouth in December 2010. Prior to her role as director of therapy operations at HealthSouth, she worked as a physical therapist at Parkland Health and Hospital System for more than six years and as director of rehabilitation for Peoplefirst Rehab, a division of Kindred Healthcare. Natasha graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in community health in 1996. She obtained her degree in physical therapy from UT Southwestern Medical School in 1998.
