Elizabeth Moore PT, DPT, GCS, graduated from Arizona State University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in life science. Elizabeth received her professional training at Northern Arizona University, where she received a doctorate in physical therapy. In 2016 she became a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Elizabeth specializes in Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation with certifications in LSVT BIG and Parkinson Wellness and Recovery (PWR!). Although she specializes in rehabilitation for people with Parkinson’s disease, she is experienced in treating the geriatric population with various neurological and orthopedic conditions. She has been working at Encompass Health East Valley, formerly HealthSouth, since 2011 and currently serves as the outpatient therapy team leader.
Tyler Luszeck, PT, DPT, graduated from Brigham Young University-Hawaii cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in pre-professional biology. Tyler received his professional training from Franklin Pierce University where he received his doctorate in physical therapy. While at Franklin Pierce University, Tyler was able to publish a systematic review comparing outcomes of thoracic and cervical manipulations. He is currently completing a neurology residency program through A.T. Still University and is pursuing a neurology clinical specialty through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is well-trained in various manual therapy techniques including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations and manipulations to aide in restoring joint function and decreasing pain.
Lorete Feka, PT, GAq, CLT, received her professional training at San Sebastian University in Chile, South America in 2007 before moving to the United States in 2012 to work for Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She holds a Geriatric Aquatic Therapy (GAq) certification and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist certificate. Lorete worked in inpatient and home health care before moving to outpatient therapy. In 2015 Lorete served as a traveling therapist, working at all six of Encompass Health’s locations in Arizona before taking a position at Encompass Health East Valley. She completed a course in Kinesio Taping in late 2016.
Ryan Shaw, PTA, started his career in the field of physical therapy as a rehab tech, working with and studying under the direction of licensed physical therapists from 2010-2012. Ryan graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. Ryan received his professional training at Carrington College where he received his associate’s degree as a physical therapist assistant in 2014. He is currently pursuing certification to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Jessica Nelson Rigney, MS, OTR/L, earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science with an emphasis in nutrition from Humboldt State University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University. Additionally, Jessica has completed training with splinting, manual therapy, the Hand Mentor Pro, Saebo, Myomo, Interactive Metronome and Dynasplint. She utilizes a variety of modalities on a regular basis including NMES/TENS/IFC, phonophoresis, iontophoresis, ultrasound, Kinesio Tape and Leukotape, and paraffin. Jessica is certified in the DriveABLE driving assessment as well.
Anthony Tillman, COTA/L, CKTP, began his therapy career in 1993 and has a background in orthopedic and neurologic therapy with an emphasis in hand therapy. Anthony has served as a director of rehabilitation and is a certified Kinesio Tape practitioner. As an Air Force veteran, he has a strong interest in caring for our service members who have been impacted physically or emotionally. He is a supporter of Project Healing Waters, a rehabilitation organization that utilizes fly fishing to address these issues.
Michelle Parisian, MA, CCC SLP, earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication disorders from San Jose State University. She started her career at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California. Michelle is licensed to practice speech pathology in Arizona and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Michelle is a certified provider for Vital Stimulation and is LSVT LOUD certified. Since 2010, she has been providing outpatient services targeting adults with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders at Encompass Health East Valley, formerly HealthSouth. In addition, Michelle leads a complimentary community aphasia group that meets monthly at Encompass Health East Valley.
Carissa Castelo, CF-SLP, earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in communication disorders from Arizona State University. She is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona and is currently completing her clinical fellowship year, on track to receive the Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has fostered clinical competencies in treating disorders of voice, speech, language, swallowing and cognition during her graduate externships at St. Joseph’s Hospital - Outpatient NeuroRehabalitation, Banner Baywood Medical Center and the Neuromuscular Research Center. Through these rotations, Carissa has provided treatment to individuals with a variety of diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, brain tumors, Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and many others.
Pro re nata Therapist: Jennifer Hill MA, CCC SLP, earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication disorders from Brigham Young University. Jennifer is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a certified provider of VitalStim Therapy for dysphagia and Interactive Metronome therapy to improve communication and cognitive impairments. Jennifer has nine years’ experience working with children and adults with speech, language, voice, fluency (stuttering), dysphagia (swallowing) and cognitive disorders. She has helped clients with many diagnoses, including Autism, Down Syndrome, brain injury, stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, brain cancer and more. In addition, she has experience working with clients who need special equipment for communication, such as an augmentative communication device or electrolarynx.
Pro re nata Therapist: Cami Hunt PT, DPT, was a collegiate athlete and has extensive background in athletics, and strength and conditioning. Cami received a bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness from Arizona State University, a doctorate of physical therapy from Northern Arizona University, and is now pursuing an orthopaedic clinical specialist certification through the American Physical Therapy Association. Cami specializes in manual therapy and believes it is an important tool for addressing soft tissue dysfunction to reduce pain and restore proper movement kinematics. She is experienced in myofascial release, fascial manipulation, trigger point release, active release technique and augmented soft tissue mobilization. She also has a certification in trigger point dry needling. Cami utilizes a comprehensive approach and seeks to identify the areas of dysfunction throughout the kinetic chain to correct postural and strength/flexibility imbalances to optimize function, which includes training in postural restoration.
