St. John Rehabilitation Hospital begins 20-bed expansion construction New wing of rehabilitation hospital expected to open December 2019
St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health will be expanding its hospital to serve provide even more patients with high-quality, rehabilitative care.
The expansion, which is already underway and expected to be completed this December, will feature 20 private patient rooms, more therapy gym space, an additional nurse station, a 4-chair dialysis suite, and an enclosed, professionally landscaped courtyard to be used by patients, families and hospital staff. Once completed, the expansion will bring the hospital’s bed count to 60 private patient rooms.

Since opening in its current hospital location in August 2016, the hospital has helped more than 2,600 patients regain strength and function after experiencing a major illnesses or injuries including stroke, brain injury, hip fracture, spinal cord injury or amputation.
