Encompass Health and UMC celebrated the opening of their new hospital in Lubbock on May 15, 2019. South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health, is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that will begin serving patients on May 20, 2019.
