This year Rusk was recognized as a Pacesetter for The Heart of Missouri United Way whose mission is to fight to improve lives in our community by responding to changing community needs. Pacesetters are local partners that commit to completing early, high-performing fundraising campaigns for The Heart of Missouri United Way.

In the 2019 Pacesetter Campaign Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital raised $10,136.00.
