Dorinda and her husband had just moved to a new area. Shortly after the move, she started feeling ill and sought medical attention. At the hospital, they discovered Dorinda was experiencing several small strokes. While she couldn’t walk well or eat, her husband said she never lost her personality. She was admitted to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Martin Health for two weeks to regain strength and function.
