After a two month battle with COVID-19, Micah Sims returns home. Unable to walk or talk upon his admission to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Pearland, he was able walk out of the hospital and tell his story to others.

“Seeing a journey like this from a patient who is unable to do most of the things we do every day of our lives that we take for granted to be able to come into our hospital to improve and to do better is absolutely why we go into the field of rehab,” said Dr. Natasha Rose, medical director of Encompass Health Pearland.
