Chief Executive Officer
Margaret has been with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth for more than 18 years and brings more than 20 years of healthcare management experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Dothan. She is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Margaret received her master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.
Dr. Soifer became the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in August 2012. Prior to joining Encompass Health, he was the medical director of an acute rehabilitation facility in Arizona as well as a sub-acute rehabilitation facility. He also has served as the medical director of an outpatient clinic dedicated to injury medicine. Dr. Soifer has expertise in neuro-muscular-skeletal medicine, which includes pain and functional impairments of a wide variety of disorders, as well as expertise in balance, vertigo and dizziness. He was born and raised in New York.

Business Development Director
Will has been employed with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 1994. He has worked in various positions during his tenure at the hospital but has found that marketing and business development is his passion. Will is a graduate of Wallace College with an associate degree in applied science in respiratory therapy and has been a respiratory therapist for more than 20 years. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration.

Natalie has been employed at Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan, since 2011.
Natalie has been employed at Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan, since 2011. Natalie, who has 22 years of nursing experience and 10 years of case management experience, received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Albany State University and her master’s degree in nursing from Walden University in 2013. She is a Certified Case Manager (CCM), a certification for case managers who have expertise, knowledge, and professional experience to provide the right services to patients across the continuum of care, including those with serious or complex medical conditions, and/or catastrophic injuries and illnesses. Natalie is also a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), a certification that demonstrates knowledge, experience and commitment to excellence in comprehensive care for people with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses in all specialties and settings of rehabilitation.
Director of Human Resources
Kristina joined the Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan team in 2011. She has more than 13 years of experience in human resources management. She oversees all areas of human resources, such as recruitment and retention. Kristina is a graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in human resource management also from Troy University. Kristina is member of the Wiregrass Human Resource Management Society and the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.

Casey joined Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan, in 2017. She has more than 17 years of healthcare experience in areas of orthopedics, neurosurgery and med-surg. Casey has held a nurse leadership position for the past 10 years with success in managing departmental operations for an acute care inpatient healthcare system. She obtained an associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College and bachelor’s in nursing from Jacksonville State University. She is a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
Amanda joined Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, as the hospital controller in May of 2018.
Amanda joined Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, as the hospital controller in May of 2018. She began her career in 2007 as an auditor for a regional accounting firm, providing accounting services to hospitals and financial institutions throughout the southeast. Amanda graduated from Troy State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration in 2009.
Director of Plant Operations
John has more than 20 years of maintenance experience. He has been in healthcare for the past 11 years. John has worked six years as a maintenance supervisor of plant operations until promoted to director of plant operations in December 2013. John also oversees security and is the safety officer at Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan. John is a member of the Alabama Society of HealthCare Engineers (ALSHE) and Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH).
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Wanda has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 1998 and brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of nursing and healthcare management. She graduated from Providence School of Nursing with her associate degree in nursing. Wanda later attended Troy University in Dothan and Montgomery where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. Wanda is also a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN®).
Director of Pharmacy
Courtney joined Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan, in 2006 as a pharmacy technician, a position which instilled her passion for pharmacy.
Courtney joined Encompass Health Dothan, formerly HealthSouth Dothan, in 2006 as a pharmacy technician, a position which instilled her passion for pharmacy. She is a graduate of Troy University where she received her bachelor’s degree then went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. Before being promoted to her current position of director of pharmacy, Courtney worked for the hospital as a staff pharmacist. She is a Certified Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist and a member of MAD-ID, APA and ALSHP.
