Ileana Stiller woke up without feeling in her left hand and fell. She was transported the hospital where she was diagnosed with a stroke. When she arrived at Encompass Health Spring Hill, she was completely dependent on all functions. Her physical therapist, Megan Ryan, and student, Corey Caudle, credit Ileana’s extraordinary recovery to her relentless motivation to get better.

James Camden came to Encompass Health Spring Hill only able to walk 5 feet after suffering a spinal cord injury. We're proud to share that James was discharged home with the ability to walk 250 feet with a walker and feed himself. James shared his gratitude for the Encompass Health team and is excited for his first steps in claiming independence!

Hospital Happenings

James Helmintoller was admitted to Encompass Health after sustaining a fall which caused a burst vertebrae and two fractured vertebrae. Staff at the hospital told him his best chance for recovery was at Encompass Health. James believes that Encompass Health was able to help him get back to his independence, and shared that the staff's support and encouragement helped him attain his goals. When asked what he was looking forward to most when he discharges, he shared that he can't wait to drive again.
