Micah Sims, 39, was hospitalized on April 9, 2020 with COVID-19, where he was on a ventilator for 30 days of his recovery. In addition, he was on a trach and lost lots of muscle and 40 lbs. during his hospital stay. He came to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Pearland not being able to walk or talk but was able to regain both during his two week stay.
