Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery names James Bills as CEO

MONTGOMERY, Ala. September 9, 2020– James Bills has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery. In his position as CEO, Bills oversees all of the day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality at the 70-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital. He assumed the position on July 13, 2020.

Bills brings more than 18 years of healthcare experience in the areas of administration, financial leadership and business acumen in both acute and post-acute hospital settings. In his most recent position, Bills served as executive director at Compassus Hospice. Bills received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting from the University of Memphis and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi.
