PENSACOLA, Fla., Feb. 2021 – Kayla Feazell has been named CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Pensacola, Encompass Health’s future inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Pensacola, Florida. The 40-bed hospital, which is under construction at 1101 Office Woods Drive, is expected to begin caring for patients in September of 2021.

As CEO, Feazell is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality. Once open, the hospital will provide 24-hour nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapies to patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries including strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions.

Feazell is a familiar name to the Encompass Health network. Most recently, she served as CEO of the Company’s rehabilitation hospital in Gadsden, Alabama. Prior to that, Feazell held leadership roles at Encompass Health’s hospitals in Montgomery, Alabama and Sugar Land, Texas. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Tulane University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Huntington College.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Pensacola will be Encompass Health’s 14^th inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Florida and will join the Company’s national network of 137 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in the U.S. In addition to several recently announced future projects, the Company’s Florida footprint includes 12 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, 19 home health locations and one hospital under construction in the northern Tampa area, which is expected to open this April.
