Woman Thanks Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Alexandria For Recovery From Serious Injuries After Car Accident

21-year-old Mehgan Ogeda spent almost a week in the hospital ICU after a life-threatening car accident, and her doctors were unsure if she’d ever walk or talk again. When she was admitted to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Alexandria, she was unable nonverbal and unable to walk, but after nearly a month of intensive therapy, she left Encompass Health able to do the things she loves again – like dancing and baking. In an interview with KALB, Mehgan expresses her extreme gratitude to her therapy team, and shared that she wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for the staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Alexandria.
