Molly Arau named CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo

Largo, FL, May 28, 2021 – Largo, FL, May 28, 2021 – Molly Arau has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. In her position as CEO, Arau will oversee all of the day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality at the 70-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, located at 901 Clearwater Largo Road North in Largo. She assumed the position on May 17, 2021.

Arau previously served as the associate administrator for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Spring Hill in Brooksville, Florida. In this role, she was responsible for planning, organizing and directing hospital operations for the 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, ensuring that quality care was provided and financial integrity of the institution was maintained. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Arau served as the chief nursing officer at multiple acute care hospitals within various healthcare systems for more than four years. She also served in many nursing and critical care leadership roles earlier in her career.

Arau earned both her bachelor's and master’s degree in nursing from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire and her master’s degree in business administration from Capella University in Minnesota.
