Encompass Health of Toledo opened to patients last year, and Mark Truman recently joined the hospital as CEO. In an interview with the Toledo Blade, Mark shared his vision for the hospital to be a destination for both patients and healthcare professionals: “We’re really focused on providing excellent care and industry-leading outcomes for our patients. We really want to exceed the patient and family satisfaction and be seen as an employer of choice for all healthcare professionals in the region.”

Beth Chapman, chief nursing officer at Encompass Health of Toledo, highlighted the multi-disciplinary approach the rehabilitation team takes when developing each patient’s care plan: “Each department plays an integral role in contributing to that plan of care. Somebody may come in after having a hip surgery or a shoulder surgery, and although we know that is their physical ailment, there are many other things that come along with illness and injury that can impact a patient’s recovery process that we take into account.” Learn more at the Toledo Blade.
