Christa Layou is an occupational therapist at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Vineland.
Layou has worked in a variety of areas of occupational therapy but has spent the past 16 years in inpatient rehabilitation at Encompass Health Vineland in New Jersey. There she is a member of the fall prevention committee, healthcare acquired infection committee and disease specific programs in stroke and hip rehabilitation. She is also co-champion of STOP, Encompass Health's safe patient transfer program.
Education
Layou received an associate's degree in humanities and social science from Mercer County Community College and has a bachelor's of science in occupational therapy from Kean University. She also has a certification in hand and upper extremity therapy from Drexel University.
