June 4, 2026 — Crystal Reiser has been appointed chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble. The 78-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 19002 McKay Drive.
“I am excited to join the Encompass Health team in Humble,” Reiser said. “The hospital is known for providing excellent patient care, and I am excited to support the work of our teams as they continue to be a pillar in our community.”
Reiser brings more than 10 years of experience in leadership and business development of inpatient rehabilitation and acute care hospitals to the CEO role. In addition to her expertise in rehabilitation hospital support, Reiser is an expert in patient-first, quality-driven leadership and intends to promote a culture of collaboration at the hospital.
“Crystal is a long-standing leader in the community, and we are excited to have her join the Humble hospital as CEO,” said Craig Funk, president of Encompass Health’s Southwest region. “She is hard working, well respected and reflects the Company’s core values. I am confident she will lead our teams well.”
Reiser earned a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University and a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University.
Encompass Health Humble is one of nine hospitals in the Houston metropolitan area.
