May 18, 2026 — Jonathan Strader has been appointed chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton, a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at 1001 West Mineral Avenue.
“Throughout my time at Encompass Health, I've seen the meaningful difference our teams make for patients and their families,” Strader said. “I'm honored to help advance the important work being done at Encompass Health Littleton.”
Strader, an occupational therapist by training, brings more than 10 years of healthcare experience to the role. He previously served as CEO for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble. He joined Encompass Health in 2013 as an occupational therapist at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin. Strader has also served as the director of therapy operations and therapy team lead.
“Jonathan is an exceptional leader who brings both deep clinical knowledge and seasoned leadership skills,” said Kimberly Steward, regional president of Encompass Health's West region. “His guidance will further strengthen the outstanding care and innovation happening at Encompass Health Littleton.”
Strader earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and his master's degree in occupational therapy from The University of Central Arkansas. He is a former member of the United States Army Reserve where he gained his Bronze Star for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Encompass Health Littleton provides essential rehabilitative services that help patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions regain function and independence. Patients receive a minimum of three hours of intensive therapy five days each week, frequent physician visits and 24-hour nursing care.
