2025 OEAA: Jen Illuminati, MidAtlantic Region
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is proud to celebrate Jennifer “Jen” Illuminati, wound program coordinator, as the MidAtlantic region recipient of Encompass Health’s 2025 Outstanding Employee Achievement Award (OEAA). The OEAA program recognizes outstanding employees selected from across Encompass Health’s hospitals who represent the very best of their regions.
Illuminati brings more than 13 years of specialized wound care experience to her role, and it has become a true asset to Encompass Health Salisbury. She delivers thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each of her patients. Her passion for wound care extends far beyond her daily work. Illuminati leads local and regional wound care meetings, shares her expertise at national conferences and mentors younger clinicians, giving them the tools and confidence they need to succeed.
Outside the hospital, Illuminati wears many hats, most notably as a mother and an instructor at a local university. Whether she’s teaching, mentoring or caring for patients, she spends her days setting the standard for reducing wounds, improving healing and ensuring the highest quality of care.
She accepted her award during a celebratory gala on May 6 at the Country Club of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama — home to Encompass Health’s Home Office — with attendees including the Company’s board of directors, executive and regional leaders, region recipients and their guests.
Illuminati receives the OEAA award from Encompass Health Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Pat Tuer.
