Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Prosper recognizes Randall Fannin with OEAA honor

2025 OEAA: Randall Fannin, South Central Region

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Prosper is proud to honor Randall Fannin, environmental services supervisor, as the South Central region recipient of Encompass Health’s 2025 Outstanding Employee Achievement Award (OEAA). The OEAA program honors exceptional employees across Encompass Health’s eight operating regions who exemplify compassion, leadership and a commitment to excellence.

Fannin knows a few things about teamwork, and whether on the field or in the hospital, his goal is simple — win together. The head track coach and sports enthusiast is known for his discipline, reliability and ability to collaborate. After transferring from Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dallas, Fannin played a critical role in opening the Prosper hospital in 2023.

As a manager and patient ambassador, Fannin leads with empathy and attention to detail. He is dedicated to ensuring discharge celebrations are meaningful, allowing patients to personally choose their send-off songs. Always willing to “take one for the team,” Fannin once supported a departing patient who chose a rival team’s fight song. With optimism and integrity, he consistently puts patient success first.

Fannin accepted his award during a celebratory gala on May 6 at the Country Club of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama — home to Encompass Health’s Home Office — with attendees including the Company’s board of directors, executive and regional leaders, region recipients and their guests.

Randall Fannin receives an OEAA Outstanding Achievement award during a professional ceremony, holding a glass plaque alongside a presenter, recognizing excellence and leadership in rehabilitation health care services.

Fannin receives the OEAA award from Encompass Health Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Pat Tuer.
