April 6, 2026 — Today, Encompass Health announced the promotion of Tiffany Kiehl to president of the Company's Central region. The Central region consists of 18 post-acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital locations across eight states with more than 3,400 employees.
“I am thrilled and honored to step into this role,” said Kiehl. “The Central region is made up of passionate, knowledgeable health care leaders who consistently elevate our standard of care. I am excited to lead this team and look forward to our successes together.”
Kiehl brings more than 25 years of health care operations experience to her new role, including more than 20 years with Encompass Health. She began with the Company as director of marketing operations at MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in Kansas. In 2025, Kiehl was named the Central region's vice president of operations.
“Tiffany has been a consistent and dependable leader in our Central region,” said Pat Tuer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Encompass Health. “I am confident she will continue to lead the region with strategic clarity, operational excellence and a deep commitment to our patients, employees and partners.”
Kiehl received a master's degree in health care administration from Park University and a bachelor's degree in recreation therapy from Northwest Missouri State University.
