April 11, 2026 — U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan visited Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading to tour the hospital and meet with leadership. During her 90-minute visit, Houlahan toured the therapy gym, activities of daily living suite, dialysis suite and patient rooms. Hospital leaders also shared insights about inpatient rehabilitation and the needs of patients in the Reading community.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading opened in 1998. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from life-changing illnesses, injuries and complex medical conditions, including strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, hip fractures and neurological conditions.
