Jennifer Cornell

Jennifer Cornell has been with Encompass Health more than 15 years in various clinical and operational roles, including serving as the quality/risk director for eight years. In 2022, she transitioned into a new role with our Home Office Risk Management Department, where she now holds the title of Director of Patient Safety. She has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years, and a CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) since 2015. Jennifer is also a certified facilitator in Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression and has chaired the Workplace Violence Prevention Committee, which is part of Encompass Health’s patient safety organization for the last six years. She serves on numerous internal and external committees, taskforces and leadership boards, including the behavior management work group.
