Bio
Chris Lasek started working for Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, affiliate of Encompass Health, in March 2021 as a weekend PRN occupational therapist. He transitioned to full time in September 2023, and has since progressed from senior level OT to OT team lead.
Lasek has been actively involved with Encompass Health's occupational therapy subject matter expert group, sharing his expertise with other occupational therapy professionals nationwide and presenting at AOTA's INSPIRE 2025 Conference. He also serves as a district chair for the Texas Occupational Therapy Association.
Before joining Encompass Health, Lasek worked as an OT in skilled nursing facilities for six years.
