Bio
Elizabeth Halkett, OTR/L, serves as the regional director of therapy operations for Encompass Health’s Southeast region. Halkett is an occupational therapist. She joined Encompass Health in 1997.
After serving as a director of therapy operations for 15 years in West Virginia, she moved to Florida and was promoted to her current role, helping open several new hospitals throughout the years. Halkett also serves on the Encompass Health Therapy Leadership Board, helping to establish best practices for Encompass Health clinicians and diving the profession forward through evidence-based practice and innovation.

Halkett graduated from the Glasgow College of Occupational Therapy in Glasgow, Scotland in 1984
