James Pope, PT, DPT, MPH, RRT, is a dual-licensed health care professional, credentialed as both a respiratory therapist and a physical therapist. With a background that bridges cardiopulmonary care and rehabilitation, he is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, education and compassionate care.
Throughout his career, Pope has worked in inpatient, outpatient and community-based settings, supporting patients through critical recovery phases while emphasizing long-term wellness and prevention. His expertise allows him to connect acute care interventions with functional rehabilitation, offering a holistic approach to health.
Beyond clinical practice, Pope is passionate about research, education and program development. As a Paul Ambrose Scholar, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to chronic disease and injury prevention, health promotion, leadership and patient empowerment.
