Laura McAlister

Laura McAlister is the associate director of content for Encompass Health. She manages the Company’s external content, including social media, the health resources blog and patient success stories.

Located at the Company’s Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama, McAlister has been with the Company for over a decade serving in various content roles. 

Before joining Encompass Health, McAlister worked in journalism, writing and editing for several publications throughout Alabama.

McAlister is passionate about sharing the story of Encompass Health, whether it’s through patient stories or working with the company’s clinical experts to educate the public on various conditions and treatment options for older adults.
