Feb. 11, 2026 – AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Anderson, South Carolina, is expanding its services to meet the growing need for inpatient rehabilitation care. In 2026, the hospital will add 16 private rooms and a four-chair dialysis suite.
“The bed and dialysis suite addition will provide patients with greater comfort and privacy, enhancing their overall health care experience,” said Heath Watson, CEO of AnMed Rehabilitation Hospital. “By offering increased privacy and comfort, we can foster a healing environment that promotes well-being and reduces stress.”
Providing onsite dialysis will allow patients the comfort and ease of receiving treatments at AnMed Rehabilitation Hospital during their stay instead of traveling to another service provider.
“Offering onsite dialysis not only supports individualized care but also allows our medical staff to focus on tailored treatment plans,” Watson said. “It ultimately elevates the overall quality of service we provide.”
AnMed Rehabilitation Hospital is a 60-bed hospital. The new unit will bring the total number of beds to 76. The hospital expects the dialysis suite to open in the spring, with the additional rooms available by fall.
