April 24, 2026 — Lauren Grieder, CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville, has been named the 2026 Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association of Greater Philadelphia. The fundraising campaign focuses on research and initiatives that improve women's cardiovascular health.
“It's an honor to be named this year's Woman of Impact,” Grieder said. “I am passionate about women's heart health and doing all I can to make a difference. I know the awareness and funds we raised will make a meaningful difference.”
Grieder was surprised by the news of her award by Heart Association representatives and Encompass Health Concordville leaders. Grieder hopes this is the start of a long partnership.
“Here we are just days away from opening our doors to patients at Encompass Health Concordville,” Grieder said. “With this award, I hope our future patients and the community see that we are committed to addressing gaps in clinical care. Our hospital will be a healthcare partner in finding solutions.”
The Woman of Impact campaign is a nine-week competition to drive awareness and raise funds for lifesaving research, advocacy and education for women's heart health. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in women, according to the Heart Association.
