Judy Parker has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Daytona Beach
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 5, 2025 - Judy Parker has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Daytona Beach. The hospital, under construction at 1952 N. Williamson Blvd., is a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital and is expected to open to patients in June 2025.
“I am honored to be selected as CEO for Encompass Health of Daytona Beach,” said Parker. “I believe in the high-quality, compassionate rehabilitative services we provide. I know the community of Daytona Beach will greatly benefit from our expert care.”
Parker most recently served as CEO at Encompass Health of Reading in Pennsylvania. Parker has been successful in improving clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction scores, employee engagement scores and financial outcomes. She has also advocated for health care issues at the local and national levels.
“Judy is a forward-thinking health care leader with proven success in driving performance and accountability,” said Lori Bedard, president of Encompass Health’s Southeast region. “I am confident she will help us build a successful team here in Daytona Beach so we can serve this community well.”
Parker earned her doctor of education and master’s degree in organizational leadership. She has military experience with the U.S. Army and is a member and proctor with the National Association of Healthcare Access Management. She enjoys serving in her community, specifically with children’s organizations and the American Heart Association.
