June 12, 2025 - Encompass Health, the nation’s largest owner and operator of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, hosted a grand opening for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Daytona Beach. The 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is expected to begin serving patients this summer.
“I’m counting down the days until our dedicated team can begin serving patients in this beautiful new hospital,” said Judy Parker, CEO of Encompass Health Daytona Beach. “I know the community of Daytona Beach will greatly benefit from our expert rehabilitative care.”
The hospital will provide essential rehabilitative services that help patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions regain function and independence. Patients will receive a minimum of three hours of intensive therapy five days each week, frequent physician visits and 24-hour nursing care.
Hospital amenities include all private patient rooms, a spacious therapy gym featuring advanced rehabilitation technologies, an activities of daily living suite, in-house dialysis suite, therapy courtyard, dining room, in-house pharmacy and dayroom areas. An interdisciplinary team of highly specialized nurses, therapists and physicians will provide physical, occupational and speech therapies to restore functional ability and quality of life.
