Bill Davis' Story: Recovering After Injury (KWQC)
July 8, 2025 – Former Scott County Attorney Bill Davis is recovering at The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute after being seriously injured by a falling tree limb. Davis was enjoying a Saturday morning with friends at a local park when a tree limb quickly snapped, falling on Davis and pinning him to the ground. He suffered a compound fibula and tibia fracture, as well as cracked ribs. Davis has been working with The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute’s multidisciplinary care team to regain strength and return home.
