Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital names CEO

DANVILLE, Pa., Oct. 28, 2025Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital has appointed Kendra Wilson as chief executive officer. The 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 64 Rehab Lane in Danville, Pennsylvania. The hospital is a joint venture between Geisinger and Encompass Health.

“Kendra is a dynamic health care executive who is known for delivering excellent results,” said Mat Gooch, president of Encompass Health’s Northeast region. “She prioritizes patient experience and strong patient outcomes. She will have great success leading our hospital team.”

A physical therapist by background, Wilson brings more than 15 years of experience in rehabilitation care and executive management roles. In her previous position with Mass General Brigham, Wilson oversaw more than 300 clinical and non-clinical staff positioned at multiple locations. She was responsible for managing all operational and fiscal aspects of the clinical departments, including budgetary compliance and business development.

Wilson holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Mercy University. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester.

Geisinger Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital opened to patients in 1997.
