Aug. 5, 2026 — Andrew Howard has been appointed chief executive officer of Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry. The hospital, located at 2200 Patrick Henry Parkway in McDonough, Georgia, is a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
“Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry is a trusted provider of inpatient rehabilitation,” Howard said. “The hospital team is committed to a culture of excellence, and I look forward to advancing our mission of providing high-quality rehabilitation care.”
Howard brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the role, including experience in the acute care setting. Prior to Encompass Health, he held CEO roles at Select Medical in Tennessee and Alabama, Community Health System hospitals in Florida, and regional hospitals in Mississippi and Kentucky. Howard is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served as a health services administrator.

Howard holds a master's degree in health administration and business administration and a bachelor's degree in finance. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry opened to patients in 2021 and is a joint venture partnership between Encompass Health and Piedmont.
