April 23, 2026 — Nolan Willoughby has been appointed chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. The 70-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 901 Clearwater Largo Road North. Willoughby started with Encompass Health Largo in 2022 as the hospital's controller. He then moved into the associate administrator role and most recently served as interim CEO.

Willoughby brings nine years of experience in hospital operations and finance to the CEO role. In addition to his expertise in accounting and budget management, Willoughby is adept in building key relationships with stakeholders and in leading process improvement.
“Nolan is the right person to serve as Encompass Health Largo's CEO,” said Lori Bedard, president of Encompass Health's Southeast region. “He is a visionary leader and a strong communicator. With his insight and experience, the hospital will continue advancing patient care.”
Willoughby earned a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Morehead State University.
Encompass Health Largo, one of the Company's long-standing hospitals, opened to patients in 1989.
