Charmaine Blanchard has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Martin Health
STUART, Fla., Jan. 28, 2025 - Charmaine Blanchard has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. The 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 5850 SE Community Drive in Stuart, Florida and holds The Joint Commission’s Disease-Specific Certification in Stroke, Amputee and Hip Fracture Rehabilitation.
“I look forward to continuing the excellent care Encompass Health Martin is known for in our community,” said Blanchard. “I am honored to lead this hospital’s dedicated and experienced staff to help our patients return to what matters most.”
Blanchard brings 25 years of healthcare experience to Encompass Health Martin. Prior to being appointed as CEO, she served as the hospital’s chief nursing officer, where she developed and implemented nursing care and service plans. Blanchard also assisted in strategic planning, budget development and operations for the hospital.
“Charmaine is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong understanding of hospital operations and regulatory compliance,” said Lori Bedard, president of Encompass Health’s Southeast region. “I feel confident that Charmaine will have great success in leading staff and implementing patient-centric initiatives.”
Blanchard holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Florida Atlantic University (FAU), as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration from FAU. She received her associate of science degree from Broward College. Blanchard is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
