Dec. 15, 2025 – Jay Voto has been appointed chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano. The 83-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is located at 2800 West 15th St. in Plano, Texas.
“I’m excited to return to Encompass Health Plano and step into the CEO role,” Voto said. “I believe in the mission of this hospital – to help people return to what matters most. We will continue building upon the excellent care this hospital team provides daily to our patients.”
Voto previously served at Encompass Health Plano from 2017 to 2022 as the area business development director. With more than 20 years of experience in health care leadership positions, Voto has directed clinical, financial and operational performance across multiple health care sites. He has also supported hospital launches and market expansions.
“Jay is a seasoned leader with a proven record of operational excellence,” said Brad Kennedy, group president of Encompass Health’s South Central region. “He is skilled in building high-performing teams and collaborating with boards, physicians and hospital staff to achieve strong patient satisfaction and outcomes. Voto earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State.
Encompass Health Plano opened to patients in 1997. The hospital serves patients following a life-changing illness or injury by providing three hours of intensive therapy five days a week. Patients also receive 24-hour nursing care and frequent physician visits. The hospital holds The Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certifications in Amputee, Hip Fracture and Stroke Rehabilitation.
