Aug. 13, 2026 — Scott Lasson has been appointed chief executive officer of Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital of Broken Arrow, an affiliate of Encompass Health. The hospital, located at 1200 W. Albany Drive in Broken Arrow, is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
"I am excited to join Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital and serve patients recovering from illnesses and injuries," Lasson said. "Throughout my career in acute care, I've seen how strong relationships among patients, families and caregivers combined with expert care can improve outcomes. I look forward to building on that foundation here."
Lasson brings more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience to the role, including a strong track record of guiding hospital and health system operations. Active in the Greater Tulsa community, he has served on local boards and is recognized for his focus on leadership development, employee engagement, quality and patient safety, workforce recruitment and strategic planning.

"His operational expertise, commitment to quality and dedication to developing strong teams make him well-suited to lead Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital of Broken Arrow."
Lasson earned a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and a master's degree in business from Northeastern State University. He has served with the Owasso Chamber of Commerce and on the Tulsa Hospital Council.
Ascension St. John Rehabilitation Hospital of Broken Arrow opened to patients in 2016. The hospital is a joint venture partnership between Ascension St. John and Encompass Health.
