Encompass Health Wichita Falls hosts Halloween puppy parade - KFDX News
Oct. 23, 2025 – Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls treated patients to a Halloween puppy parade. Families of patients and hospital staff brought their furry friends dressed in costume to participate in the parade – much to the delight of the hospital’s patients.
“It is always refreshing to get to see the excitement on their [patients] faces,” Britany Pollard, director of business development, told KFDX News. “We know they are getting close to the end of their journey to go back home, in most cases. This pushes them even harder to get back to where they want to be.”
Encompass Health Wichita Falls organizes events like the Halloween puppy parade to encourage patients’ emotional well-being and boost morale.
