At West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital Jackson, a partnership with Encompass Health, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Jackson, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, amputation and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Kimba joined West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital - Jackson, a partner of Encompass Health, formerly Spire Rehabilitation Hospital, as a registered nurse in June 2017. Kimba has served in various roles within Encompass Health. In May 2019 Kimba was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer. She graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Kimba brings more than 37 years of nursing experience, 11 of those specializing in rehabilitation. Kimba has 23 years of management experience.
Director of Plant Operations
Randy Chandler joined West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital – Jackson in March of 2019 as the director of plant operations. He brings more than 22 years of facilities management experience with 35 years electrical and plumbing background. He attended Tennessee Technology Center of McKenzie and received an industrial maintenance diploma. He has also attended Jackson State Community College for emergency medical technician and is currently a licensed EMT in Tennessee.
Director of Therapy Operations
Trisha joined West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital - Jackson in October of 2018 as the director of therapy operations. She has been a part of the Encompass Health network since 2008 when she started as a staff physical therapist. In addition, she has held the positions of physical therapy lead and physical therapy manager prior to being promoted to this role. Trisha graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette Campus, in 2004 with undergraduate major of athletic training then went on to achieve her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008 from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. In 2013, Trisha received her Neuro-Developmental Treatment certification and in May of 2017, Trisha became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Norton School of Lymphedema. Trisha has achieved the Clinician Specialist III designation from Encompass Health and continues to treat patients with a variety of diagnosis in the inpatient setting.

Anita Ricketts joined West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital - Jackson in October of 2018 as the controller. She brings more than 18 years of accounting and financial management experience with a primary focus on operating results and profitability driven by process improvements. Anita graduated from Union University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In addition, she has served as a business consultant and is licensed as a State of Tennessee Insurance Producer for Life and Accident & Health and is licensed as a State of Tennessee Realtor.
