Shivani joined The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in 2007 starting her career at TRISL as a physical therapist and has served in a variety of hospital leadership roles. Shivani completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, graduating in 2004. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in 2007.

Dr. Boeving started at The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in July of 2022, and was appointed medical director in February 2023. Dr. Boeving is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and specializes in cancer rehabilitation, complex medical issues, multi-trauma, spasticity management and stroke rehabilitation. Dr. Boeving earned a medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. As the medical director of The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis, he actively participates in the daily efforts to advance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of rehabilitation care provided. His hobbies include cycling, photography, entomology, hiking and horticulture.

Dr. Boeving is an independent private practice physician.

Ashton joined The Rehabilitation institute of St. Louis is 2017 as a rehabilitation liaison. She currently serves as the area business development director over the three St. Louis TRISL locations. Ashton has more than 15 years of experience in admissions, marketing, business development and leadership across the post-acute care continuum. Ashton earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2003.

Dr. Cole is a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and then completed his internship at Washington University in St. Louis within the department of internal medicine. He then completed three years of specialty training in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Washington University in St. Louis, where he served as chief resident. As a physiatrist, he specializes in the management of conditions that impact a patient’s function and quality of life such as musculoskeletal disorders, post-amputation management, prosthetics/orthotics, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neuropathy, geriatric rehabilitation, cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation, movement disorders and general debility.

Dr. Cole is an independent private practice physician.

Jason joined The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in January 2024. He currently serves as human resources director for the St. Peters location. Jason received his bachelor's degree from Lindenwood University in business administration with a concentration in human resources management and has spent the majority of his career in healthcare human resources.

Tammiell currently serves as chief nursing officer at the St. Peters location. Tammiell has held a variety of clinical leadership roles across the patient care continuum and has been with Encompass Health since 2016. Tammiell diverse practice experience serves her well as an advocate on behalf of patients, nurses and the profession. Tammiell received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She also has her master's degree in nursing. Tammiell is also a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and has achieved the title of Certified Rehabilitation Rehab Nurse (CRRN).

Kristen is the case management director for The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis - St. Peters and West County. Kristen joined Encompass Health in 2017. Kristen completed her master's degree in social work from St. Louis University in 2011. Prior to becoming the director of case management, Kristen served as the senior case manager at the St. Peter's location.

Chris has served in his role as facilities management director at Encompass Health St. Peters and West County since February 2024. He has more than 10 years’ experience in facilities management, which includes eight years in a healthcare environment. Chris graduated from Vatterott College with his associate degree of applied science - HVAC. Chris has been an active member of the Missouri Society for Healthcare Engineering (MOSHE) since 2018 and is a United States Marine Corps Veteran.

Amanda started at The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in January of 2024 and serves as the director of therapy operations. She completed her undergraduate studies at Maryville University, graduating in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree. Amanda then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016, also from Maryville University. She is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration with a healthcare emphasis. Prior to joining, Amanda has held a variety of leadership roles across the healthcare continuum including acute care, outpatient and critical access facilities.

Jackie joined The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis in January 2022. She serves as the controller and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Missouri. Prior to joining TRISL, Jackie had more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, most recently at a large acute care health system.

Matt completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2014 and his ASHP Accreditation Standard for Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency in 2015. During Matt’s tenure in pharmacy, he has held supervisor and leadership positions. Matt joined Encompass Health in 2018 and was named the director of pharmacy in 2022.
