Joshua Trout, CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greenville, joined The Neil Haley Show podcast to discuss stroke rehabilitation. Trout noted that the hospital has seen an increase of strokes in patients in their twenties and thirties, which he said the pandemic has only exacerbated. Thanks to the hospital's advanced care technology, Trout said they are able to help most of those patients return to their normal lives.

"[In healthcare], we always focus so much on the patient, but we tend to forget about those that are around them – those caretakers and family members. Something that we really try to do at Encompass Health is not just strictly focus on the patient, but also provide resources for those that surround them, the families and support care," Trout added.
