Jan. 3, 2023 - Joshua Trout, CEO of Encompass Health of Greenville and Dr. Angelica Soberon-Cassar were recently joined by Fox Carolina’s Kari Beal to discuss the importance of CPR after the recent collapse of Buffalo Bills player, Damar Hamlin.
Dr. Soberon-Cassar covered the greatest differences between cardiac arrest, heart failure and to suffer a heart attack. Joshua stated, “every minute that goes by without defibrillation, you lose about 10 percent chance of survival… CPR being initiated with the assist of a defibrillator is very important to overall success.”
