University of Kentucky athletics communications director shares stroke survivor story

Earlier this year, Matt May, associate director of athletics communications with the University of Kentucky, experienced a life-threatening stroke. He achieved his first major goal through rehabilitation – returning home before his birthday. Matt credits the rehabilitation he did inpatient and at home for his quick recovery. "When recovering from a stroke, set small, short-term goals that you can reach," says Matt.
