July 23, 2026 — Ashley Donahoe has been appointed chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Treasure Coast. The hospital, located at 1600 37th St. in Vero Beach, Florida, is an 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.
“During my time as market CEO for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of the Mid-Cities and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, I have witnessed firsthand the impact of inpatient rehabilitation care,” Donahoe said. “I am excited to continue supporting our teams as they set the standard for care in Florida.”
Donahoe brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience and six years of leadership experience within the Company to the role. A physical therapist by training, Donahoe has served in leadership roles across home health, outpatient and inpatient settings. She has a proven record in engaging teams and cultivating a collaborative environment.
“Ashley has been a leader in Texas for several years,” said Lori Bedard, president of Encompass Health’s Southeast region. “As she moves to our Treasure Coast hospital, I am confident she will be an asset to our growth and continued community support in the region. She is uniquely qualified to lead Encompass Health Treasure Coast.”
Donahoe earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Texas Tech University. She also earned a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Woman’s University. She holds memberships with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Physical Therapy Association.
