If you are admitting to one of our hospitals, we want you to know what to expect during inpatient rehabilitation every step of the way. This video series address what to expect during your stay at one of our rehabilitation hospitals.

Patient Education Opportunities at Our Hospital

Encompass Health offers a variety of educational classes and activities to help patients adjust to rehabilitation, as well as further prepare them for re-entering the community following their time with our clinical teams.

Hip Fracture Education

Welcome Group

This class is scheduled on each patient’s second day with us as a welcome and quick education on what to expect while at our rehabilitation hospital. Family members are invited to attend as well.

Mondays - Saturdays | 1:30 – 2:15 p.m.

  • Fine motor control
  • Wii balance activities
  • Fall prevention safety education and standing balance improvement
  • Functional/iADL (instrumental activities of daily living)

  • Balance Business, covering higher level functional balance activities
