We want you to get better, and to make that happen, we need to know where you began. Upon arrival at one of our hospitals, we will measure how much help you need to perform basic skills – this is called your FIM® score. Your rehabilitation team will review your FIM® score with you, set challenging but attainable goals, and design a treatment plan to help you meet your specific goals. Before your leave the hospital, we will rescore your FIM® assessment to see how much you’ve improved, determine how well you have met your goals, and provide you the materials and training you need to continue your progress after you leave the hospital.

HealthSouth Round Rock holds hospital celebration to unveil new name and brand

ROUND ROCK, Texas, March 21, 2018 – HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock will hold a special event to unveil its new name and brand as part of its company’s name change and rebranding initiative. Beginning April 1, the inpatient rehabilitation hospital will be known as Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock and will continue to provide the same high-quality post-acute care for patients overcoming a variety of debilitating illnesses and injuries.

The celebration will be held on Thursday, April 5 from 5-7 p.m. at the hospital, located at 1400 Hesters Crossing in Round Rock in the first floor gym and cafeteria. The event is open to the community and will offer hospital tours and refreshments.

“Our new brand reflects more than the change of our name and logo. It reinforces our commitment to working together to continuously improve the care we provide our patients,” said Craig Funk, vice president of operations for Encompass Health’s southwest region. “With a focus on clinical collaboration and strengthening relationships, we will continue to play an important role in making a difference in the lives of our patients.”

Birmingham, Alabama-based HealthSouth Corporation launched its new name and brand on Jan. 1, 2018 and will be transitioning its 127 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, 200 home health locations and 37 hospice agencies serving 36 states and Puerto Rico through 2019. All of the Company’s post-acute care service locations in Texas will migrate to the Encompass Health name and branding on April 1.
